How to Utilize Vehicle Wraps to Their Full Potential

Turning your car into a mobile billboard with vinyl graphics is an effective way to get your brand’s name out there. With car wraps, you can expose your business to new audiences that have the potential to become future customers. If you follow these four tips, we guarantee leads will be rolling in!

Tip #1: Utilize Negative Space The number one mistake that people make when designing vinyl graphics is creating cluttered designs. Luckily, this can be easily avoided with the use of negative space. Negative space is a simple way to highlight the main points of your advertisement that you are trying to convey to your audience. Vinyl graphic designs should be straightforward, as they are mainly seen in passing. Ample white space will reduce uncertainty and get your business quality leads.

Tip #2: Make it Legible In theory, pretty fonts seem like a good idea, but they can often be difficult to decipher. When designing your vinyl graphics, always opt for a large, bold font that is easy to read. Keep in mind that your advertisement will often be seen from a distance, or for a brief moment in passing. If you use a small script font, no one will be able to tell what it says! That being said, vehicle wraps that are legible from afar generate the most results.

Tip #3: Keep Your Branding Cohesive When designing your vinyl graphics, keep your company’s branding in mind. This includes your logo, color scheme, imagery, and fonts. If you always use blue and white, do not create a design that is purple and pink. Your goal is for people to see your graphics and immediately know that they belong to your business! All of your designs should reflect the same, cohesive idea.

Tip #4: Work With All Four Sides  Contrary to your typical one-angle marketing formats, vehicle wraps have four sides to work with! Being there is much more surface area to cover, repeating information is encouraged. Each side of the car should include contact information, CTAs, and images that reflect your company. No matter where the viewer is in relation to your vehicle, they should be able to take away the same information.
